 In 1994 [[company:Apogee]] created a new division, 3D Realms Entertainment, with the goal of developing innovative, interactive, immersive and of course fun 3D action games. In 1998 became an equity partner with Gathering of Developers. 3D Realms is legally named [[company:Apogee Software]] still.
3DO 19982002
 The 3DO Company 1991-2003 Started developing the 3DO console. Now just produces games for PCs and consoles.
