I'm not sure what's going on, but my avatar creation seems to be getting all wonky now. First Caleb's pic was off, and now I can't take avatar of Ferril.

Here's what I cropped for avatar.

Yes, I just found the same problem too.
Perhaps it doesn't work when cropping large images, I just tried with a 640x480 image and cropped ok.

Height of 899 was too much, but 800 seems to be OK. So I assume something odd happens somewhere in between.

Three months and one day later... Fixed!
It wasn't a javascript library fault: I scale down images taller than 750 pixels, but didn't considered this when cropping, so the "soon to be cropped" image was bigger than the one you see on the screen.
