Don't understand why Neo-Geo Samurai Shodown games are not "Neo Geo" but "Arcade" with "Neo-Geo" hardware.... (see this search). These games should be edited to set the platform as "Neo-Geo" instead of "Arcade", and hardware tag removed.

Plus, I don't know how to note the fact that a Neo Geo game can be cartridge-only, CD-only or both. cd-rom tag (or cd-rom harware) don't tell if the game is CD-Rom only or CD-Rom and cartridge.

And, I don't understand why PCE-CD has its own platform whereas there are not "Neo Geo CD", "Amiga CD 32" and "Jaguar CD" platforms.

Because there are both Neo-Geo home console and Neo-Geo arcade. But it was was (unfortunately) decided that Neo-Geo arcade is the same as Neo-Geo home console. I stopped caring how they're stored when this decision was made clear (= I avoid touching the Neo-Geo games).

The same reason used for their merging should be used for merging GP2X and other similar instances to Linux, since there's even less of a difference there. And there are other platforms as well that deserved it much more than Neo-Geo.

Edit: Other platforms, like Imsai. Clone of Altair 8800 as the description says which should be enough, but the platform has only one non-game game entry. And even if it's a game, why are we listing example game code that were only provided for beginning coders to start making their own? I could find thousands of example games that would be as qualified for addition as these are, and most of them don't even have real names on top of that.

This Neo-Geo issue is really confusing... If the Neo-Geo platform is the home gaming console, what to do with games running on this hardware (like most KOF) but that were released only in arcades?
Perhaps would be better to use the correct platform and then tag as "in_arcades_too" or "only_in_arcades" when needed.

Such games exist? I'm not really into Neo Geo games but I thought that every MVS games also exist on AES.

I find it better to have it both for the Neo Geo platform and Arcade with the specific Neo Geo system as hardware. Unless we're splitting the Arcade platform to different Arcade platforms.
