The multiple release thing should be integrated into the game media thing that was planned. Add some combobox for the media type and input box for number along other release specific info.
Many games have been re-released on other media and this would be convenient place for it. The number input would be just for the number of diskettes, CDs, or such the game came on, and since usually this is 1, it should be automatically added there. And the default media should preferably be platform specific, and hopefully the choices are actually limited to what the platform supports.
Come to think of it, this should also work as a convenient excuse to merge the different variants of the same platforms with the additional media bays. Although separate game entries might still be used if the game _is_ different, as was established before, this would be better for consistency. It may require some extra effort to make the game entries with the same name but different media to appear different, but if you can't do that, then I have to wonder if the games have anything different in truth.
