Last game of the Wonder Boy: Monster World series. This time you play as Asha, Shion (Wonderboy)'s girl friend, a green-haired girl who wants to be an adventurer. There is more platforming than in the previous Monster World games, but there are still the standard action-RPG/adventure elements of equipment, money and treasures. There are several interesting puzzles too.
