This game took me a long time to figure out.

The idea is as follows:
Join the girl's puzzle pieces and get the male symbol so that it is next to all the girl's pieces. All the girl's pieces touching the male symbol will disappear. The board is complete and you win only when all the of the girls' pieces are gone.
Keep in mind a few things:
-Once the male symbol touches a girl, it disappears with the girl and if you have any girl pieces remaining after that, you are stuck.
-You can get multiple girls with one male symbol.
-If you join a girl's 4 puzzle pieces to get one big square piece, it will become immovable. This may make it impossible to get a male symbol next to it, so the idea is to move the 4 puzzle pieces separately to the vicinity of the male symbol, and then join them. Finally, bring the male symbol to the joined pieces.
-There are two levels on the puzzle board. On the top level, you can move any tile freely but on the bottom level, tiles become locked into place. Girl tiles and male symbols may also be moved to the bottom level but they get stuck once they fall into it. So, you have to be careful that you can still get all the remaining girl tiles with what's left of your male symbols (A male symbol can interact with girl's directly above and below it so use this to your advantage).

There are more kinds of tiles in the later levels: So far I've encountered:
-Ice tiles with no friction so the piece you move continues to run in the same direction.
-Male tiles, that when touching each other, take away the floor beneath them.
-Spherical tiles that move just like if the whole board was ice.
-Teleporters that teleport the piece you moved to another location and they keep moving in the same direction.
Perhaps there are others... I haven't played the whole game.

The solution to the first puzzle is as follows: (There may be multiple ways to solve a puzzle and I'm sure I did some extraneous moving, but I don't care :) )

move girl tile 1 down 1 space (it joins with 3)
move girl tile 2 down 1 space (it joins with 4)
move joined 2,4 left 1 space (it joins with 1,3)
move male symbol left until it touches the girl
.. you win!!!
