Adventure/Role game displaying health status, a square world map (radar like), and an action scene banner. I loved that game where u are an explorer with his crew and their morale is affecting gameplay. Game goal is to find a secret valuable stone in the map, among the occulted unexplored parts, and bring it back to one city. A new random world map is generated at each game start and is displayed on the side of the screen.
Remaining screen (below the screen if i remember well) gives u a closer view on the map tail u chose to go and explore.
Exploring phase can be made of a variety of random events like meeting wild animals (lion, giraffe and others), some enemies or entering a friendly village. U can use cash in cities market to buy food, water, recruit companions or u can just rest. Sometimes one party member will turn unhappy and quit ur party stealing part ur cash.
Las I could never finish the game, I would get killed after having explorer about half the map if not earlier in the game.
(This description is based on 20 years old gaming memories, I could be wrong with some details I posted... still I think one might have an idea of what this game is about)
