This is surprisingly good RTS, especially for something that uses WW2 as its setting. The game type is actually more of Tactical RTS since the strategy part is greatly diminished in favor of the tactical, which makes the game much more involved and fun than the usual strategy games out there. Even though the game uses the same game engine as Dawn of War and its expansions, the game mechanics are quite different, even though you still need to capture strategic points for resources and such. DoW was pure strategy game as opposed to CoH which brings tactics to the fore. I never imagined I'd be this interested to play _any_ WW2 games, but the difference in CoH to all other RTS games I've played sets it apart like none other. Even the graphics and sound are great with the little details here and there that set the mood just right. The only gripe I have for this is the map editor which is unnecessarily difficult to use, but that hardly is of concern to anyone but me, right?
