  • Sega's blue speed demon of a mascot is back in this awesome 128-bit Dreamcast game. Sonic Adventure is the latest and greatest, featuring unbelievably crisp graphics, a rockin' soundtrack, and very nice gameplay. The game also features a highly integrated story line. There are 6 characters to choose from, and each character has special actions, abilities, etc. Also, each character's story merges into the bigger picture with a seamlessness that leaves you in awe of the designers. This particular incarnation of a Sonic game is a little bit different than the previous ones in that it emphasizes an exploration element (similar to Super Mario 64) as well as the breathtaking adrenaline rushes that Sonic is famous for.
There's really not that much to complain about, save a few camera and collision detection problems (which they are committed to fixing for the USA release of the game). Overall, extremely well done, and very highly recommended if you liked any of the previous Sonic games.
