The first in Sega's popular Phantasy Star RPG series, and the first console RPG to reach the U.S. A young woman named Alis, soon joined by three other party members, journeys across the Algo Star System in a quest to destroy the evil king Lassic, who killed her brother. This game was one of the few console games to feature first-person-perspective dungeons.
