The most interesting thing about R&F is that it is a step down from the 32-bit PSX, returning to the good old Super Nintendo for the final hurrah. Of course, there is the [[game:Mega Man X]] series which takes place directly after this one - but Rockman & Forte is the end of the classic Mega Man as we know him.
