The client software 2.22+ requires AOL for Windows 2.0, 2.5 or 3.0 for 9600+ baud and An AOLnet or SPRINTnet connection. I do not know client requirements for running under MS-DOS. A 500 player persistent world online game based on SSI's game engine used in their 'Gold Box Series' of AD&D games. Precursor to the Black Isle Studios version. Combat is turn based with a 20 second time limit and absolutely no pausing. A 300 baud connection will cut your turn time to a still playable 5 seconds. The client software can be made to work with modem, cable, LAN and private internet connections. A single player game is included with the software.
