Final Fight 3 provides more of what you've come to expect from the Final Fight series. This game intoduces two next characters, the police officer Lucia and the mysterious street fighter Dean, who replace Maki and Carlos from the previous installment. There are also new attacks, such as dashing strikes and Street Fighter-style special attacks and Super Combos. To make things a bit more interesting, some doors can be broken by thrown enemies, leading to different paths or bonus areas. Unfortunately, the enemy designs are relatively boring and it's really more of the same beat-'em-up gameplay that's been around for years.

Excellent street fighting game. The game is not a pure fighter, like Mortal Combat and Street Fighter, but it is more of a side scroller in which you advance in the areas and beat up whoever gets in your way.
