A four score is not necessary for 4 players. When a player buzzes in, they have a limited time to take their turn answering a question and choose a new category if they are right. Other wise the remain players get another chance to buzz in, and so on. The game automatically detects a Four Score or Satellite if it is switched into 4 player mode. In this case, each player has a controller and will be asked to choose a buzz in button and must practice it twice before the game will start. If there is no multitap present, players 1 and 2 must share the first controller by buzz in in with the d-pad (p1), and a chosen button (p2) and players 3 and 4 share the second controller in the same way.
