A water entity, created by evil forces, floods the past, present and future, slowly devouring everything in the world. A bunch of brave warriors is sent back through a time-machine to stop the entity.

The last game of the FFL trilogy features a different battle system (similar to FF VI). The ability to travel back and forth in time enriches the game in a way.

An excellent RPG with a very good soundtrack.
