Actually kickboxing, not true karate. I guess 'karate' is the easiest way for them to translate it for Japanese gamers ;-)
Oh, and they have a ref. And really biiiiig gloves. The animation and control of this version seems little more fluid somehow, and the menu select your attacks is a bit easier to figure out. Also features an instant replay mode between rounds. However, the fighting engine is still flawed, and you'll end up flailing at air while your opponent is on top of you for a good amount of time. Jacquismo - 2006-05-24 10:35:54
