Many have said Frontier Wars is Starcraft with fleets (a bit like how Battlefleet Gothic is to WH40k), so the similarities may be a bit too glaring for those who see it this way.

Races:
* Terrans — all-rounded with perhaps the most powerful vessels
* Mantis — locust-like race with biological ships and orbital structures, mostly uses carrier vessels with massive numbers of fighter craft.
* Celareons — the high-tech energy-based race living inside machines that allow them to interact with the physical world, uses sweeping energy based weapons.
