In Dragon Quest I you explore the world, defeating vicious Wyverns and evil Dragons in your quest to rescue the kidnapped Princess, retrieve the stolen Light Orb, and free the land of Alefgard from the grasp of Evil. In Dragon Quest II, you control three characters, two princes and a princess, descendants of the hero from Dragon Quest I. This time, your world is much larger, the enemies hunt in packs, and your task more complex. By land and by sea, you must explore both a new land and the original world of Dragon Quest I, all the while working to defeat the evil cult leader Hargon and his army of demons.
