| Games with action sequences where the player is required to press a button when a timed cue appears on screen which if the player doesn't do fast enough usually ends up in the character's gruesome death. These are common in "movie-like" sequences. The controls differ from normal movement significantly, usually falling to the arrow keys on PC and on consoles to the four symbol buttons which are usually used for actions such as shooting rather than movement which is what the action sequences usually use them.
