Games using the fifth generation of id Software's game engine.
The engine will support Mac, PC (Windows/Linux), X360, and PS3.

Oddly enough the engine won't support DirectX 10 on Windows platforms.

Uses OpenGL for rendering and uses multiple threads natively (allowing it to better benefit from multiple CPUs).
