Possibly the more traditional cases as well, where the player controls a character chosen by god to do something (though if this is only mentioned outside of the game, then perhaps not). Though mostly the cases where the other characters recognize the player as a "savior", too.

For cases where the player supposedly does what he does because some god told him to, there might be more interest in some other more specific tag (or split this one).
