Countless works of art on the HP2000 were erased without mercy. Co-creator, Peter S. Langston recreated the game in the [[gametag:Clanguage C language]] on a [[gametag:PDP-11-45 PDP 11/45]] running UNIX; he decided to rename it [[gameid:160318 Empire]].
