Apparently SC2 will have non-linear gameplay with user selected missions and some other things.

There's a possibility that SC2 will contain in-game advertising.

SC2 will be episodic, with the first game containing the Terran episode followed by "Heart of the Swarm" for Zerg and "Legacy of the Void" for Protoss later on.
