The Supervision was first sold in 1992. Trying to compete with the Game Boy by offering a very low price on the unit and games, they thought that they could had taken a piece of the market with their system. Similar to the Game Boy in hardware and design, it has some advantages: the screen has a better resolution and a bigger size, the console could be bent (well some Supervisions) to adjust the screen preventing unnecessary wrist torsion.
