Tec Toy has been responsible for many Portuguese game translations for games for Sega's platforms. He was also responsible for the complete development of several games, including Street Fighter II - version made for the Master System console under license from Capcom - Duke Nukem 3D and Woody - for the Sega Mega Drive. The company developed a version of Australian TV game show, Show of the Million for the Sega Genesis console.

In July 2005, it established the division Tectoy Mobile, for the publication of games for mobile phones. The company also develops games for mobile phones, using under license franchises like Sonic, Indiana Jones and Double Dragon, through its division Tectoy Digital, based in the city of Campinas. In 2009 he released mobile Chiaroscuro: The game based on the album the singer Pitty, Cd being the first Brazilian to win a game based on the album.

Name changed to: Tectoy in late 2007.
