The Egg: Elemental Gimmick Gear features old school 2-D environments and fantastic 3-D battles. The story line of the game begins on a planet call Fogna, which just went through some rough times. You crash land on the planet, and after the crash landing, you fall into a deep mysterious sleep.
You awaken after the Fogna have become extremely advanced, and in this all new and strange world of Fogna, you need to gather information, fight your way through evil elemental gimmick gears, plants, and other bad creatures with help from "good" Elemental Gimmick Gears!
