The Amiga computer, launched by Commodore in 1985, combined superior multimedia technology with ease of use, inspiring millions of the most creative and enthusiastic computer users ever.

Was designed by Jay Miner for his company Hi-Toro, and as prototype was named Lorraine (named after the wife of Dave Morse).
Before the official launch the company was renamed into Amiga Incorporated.

OCS means Original Chip Set (sometimes Old Chip Set).
Later came the ECS (Enhanced Chip Set)
