Atari sold about 150,000 units. But after the reverse merger with JT Storage, the remaining stock of Jaguar units (and games and accessories) were sold at greatly discounted prices; bringing the total closer to 250,000 units making out into the wild. There is a FORM 10-K that has been publicly released that confirms Atari began with this number of units but didn't sell them all.
