Rambo 3 is not the most spectacular "Run and Gun" game ever, but quite enjoyable for some time. The graphics are all right for an early 16-bit title. Some of the 6 stages included maze like dungeons with finding hostages or destroying a certain amount of weapons, while other levels are of strictly linear design. The musical score is ok, but features too few different tunes, the sound effects are rather weak and don't sound very realistic. When there are many sprites on screen the game also starts to slowdown, which is something that could have been handled better on the Mega Drive. If you are a fan of this kind of genre you will have some fun with it. I personally enjoyed the similar Bloody Wolf a bit more.
