American Game Cartridges Inc, acquired the rights to produce NES versions of Exidy's arcade games. They announced and advertised Crossbow and there are even references to it in [[gameid:8428 Wally Bear and the NO Gang]]. But they apparently did not finish it before going out of business and selling everything to American Video Entertainment. AVE apparently decided to finish and publish Wally Bear but not Crossbow.
