maybe a bug with sending mail from uvlist site

Hello, it seems that there is a problem sending emails from the site. I did the test with 2 email addresses on 2 different domains and I received none. Of course, U checked the antispam folder.

thanks for you feedback about that,

Christophe.

I saw one request for editor status from you in the message system. I gave you editor status a couple hours after that. Don't know if you got an e-mail confirmation that you got editor status.

Hello Teran,

No I don't receive any email from the site, I even tested the forget password function and it's the same result, nothing in the inbox or the antispam, that's why I was wondering about the proper functioning of the mail sending function.

thanks for adding it to the editor list.

Thank you for the report chrebie2.
I've investigated the issue and found that it's not related to email, but rather an error occurring during user creation. I had previously fixed this problem, but I'll need to review the entire process again to ensure everything is working correctly.

In the meantime, if you need any assistance with your current account or the new user, just let us know.

Thx Andread for your feedback
no problem in particular, just that I was surprised not to receive an email when I registered.

and thank you all for your work on this site

Thank you.

Update:
The issue appears to be due to Google and other email providers enhancing their security measures for email transmission, rather than a problem on our end.
To comply with these new regulations I need to implement the necessary changes.

I'm reading docs and searching for alternatives... Hope so have this sorted as soon as possible.

Update: I received all the pending emails, they were dated the day of my request.
but they end up in the spam folder
If it helps, when I have a problem with a bad score on an email sending server I use this site: https://www.mail-tester.com
you send a test email to the address generated by the site and you see the result and the causes of the rejection by antispam.
I see that the emails are sent from uvlist.com and that there is no SPF record on this domain.

https://www.nslookup.io/domains/uvlist.com/dns-records/

however I see that the email I received comes from the IP 45.33.98.129
This ip has a valid spf on the domain uvlist.net

https://www.nslookup.io/domains/uvlist.net/dns-records/

I hope this information can help to fix the problem.

Thank you, yes it is what I'm doing now, but it is the kind of task that I do every 5 years or more, so every time I have to re-learn everything ...
I'm also taking this opportunity to do some cleaning and improve the infrastructure.
