Latest version: 1.4 (as of 2006-02-02), retail (1.5) for collector's edition
The collector's edition is simply the 1.5 version of the game with more content (and more bugfixes) that were not made available for owners of the original, so they had to also buy the collector's edition if they wanted the fixes.
