Has a tendency to crossover its various universes, to such a degree and frequency that some might think they're the same.

In addition to legitimate crossovers, there is an umbrella fiction where all Disney characters exist and can interact with each other 'outside of work' so to speak. This is actually a very early tradition for the Disney company. Walt Disney himself, and other Disney employees in live-action, would interact with the animated characters in promotional shorts. These interactions, not to mention Disney theme parks, are part of this umbrella fiction. Disney's french studio produces many types of entertainment that are exclusively set in this umbrella fiction.
