This was one of the biggest disappointments i had with a game, specially when the first devil may cry was so damn good, is like playing another game in terms of story, you can skip DMC 2 and you wont miss nothing relevant of DMC story line.
It's nice to see a like-minded person for once in this case. Wish I had heard that before I bought the game years ago (luckily only as used).. still trying to bother myself enough to re-sell it :)
