About Karous

Karous (or Crows, in English) is Milestone Inc's newest arcade shoot em up offering. It plays and looks very similar to Milestone's last shooter, Radilgy. Both games are cel-shaded and feature both a regular shot and a sword weapon used to clear away oncoming enemy fire.
While Radilgy was a more colorful, "happier" toned game, Karous makes heavy used of red, black, and whitish-grey color tones to give off a more gothic feeling atmosphere. The game is, after all, about the offspring of an unholy union between an angel and a human, so this fits the general story Karous attempts to exude.
