"Cosmo Police Galivan" is a Metroid-style action adventure game with some RPG elements like killing monsters for xp to increase your Max life and power. The game has been changed quite a lot compared to the original arcade version, which was less "adventure" and more "action" oriented. That does not mean that the Famicom version in its core is still an action game. Most importantly it plays well enough to be enjoyable. It consists of 6 levels each being rather non-linear. Graphics and sound are good as well.
