Fade on the Thumbnails
The fade out when you close a pic? I'm not seeing anything alse.
Shaded verticies, each corner. Gives it a curved look, TVish. I suppose it makes sense for older systems that connected to CRTs. But its just wrong for new PC systems.
Its not new. I got used to it and kinda like it now.
Regarding screenshots: I would rather have the "latest screenshots added" be back again on the homepage though instead of the anniversaries.

Latest screenshots often tended to have a theme because of the way most UVL editors tend to add screenshots (myself included). This meant we got a batch of Linux screens, Commodore screens, porn screen etc. The UVL homepage is the 'first impression'. What this all had in common was giving visitors the wrong impression about UVL. A visitor might think "its all about Linux", or "Commodore", or "porn". Yes, unsafe images did not appear on the main page but 'safe' images that were obviously catering to sexual interests were. Equally as misleading were common themes of any other string of screen shots.
