Official description

STEEL BATTALION is a Mechanical game, in which you control mechanized tanks, known as a "VT" (or Vertical Tank), using a forty button controller with footpedals. Not too far in the future, military unrest is rampant throughout the world, and you've just been promoted. As the pilot of a state-of-the-art mech known as a Vertical Tank, you are in charge of keeping the peace. You must master the integrated controller to win your way to victory.
