Official description

Vampire hunter, Simon Belmont, is back-and so are the vampires. Based on a Japanese sequel to the original CASTLEVANIA games (it was called DRACULA X68000 overseas), CASTLEVANIA CHRONICLES has levels and enemies that have never been seen in a domestic release. The premise is the same as it ever was. You'll scroll through dozens of 2D levels, killing off creatures of the night, and protecting your own life. This time around, you can actually adjust the audio-visual presentation of the game to suit your fancy.
