This game may start a renaissance in side-scrolling fighting games. Pick one of the four main characters and start in the single-player story mode. The plot is incidental to what this game is really about: 15 levels of street-fightin' fury. There are a variety of surrounding weapons to use, such as guns, blades, explosives - even car parts. An innovative rage meter fills as you take damage and can be used to unleash a torrent of rage on your foes. Some of the bosses you successfully overpower will unlock as playable characters. Best of all, with the separately sold Multi Tap accessory, your friends can join in for a four-way beatdown.

There was a day when the arcades were ruled by a game called Final Fight. In that game you and some friends marched through tons of locations beating up everything in sight. Well, with Gekido, you return to those days with all new 3D graphics. You'll be able to pick up almost every object in the game and use it as a weapon. If you've had enough of the single-player game, you and three friends can take each other out at the same time in the four-player battle arena.
