Personal review

A unique racing game, mainly because of it's additional RPG-stlye "quest mode". Your father gives you a racing car and wants you to become the world champion. So you make your way to different towns and buy better parts for your car. You earn money by beating other drivers in a short one lap race on one of several different course designs. Those drivers appear as random encounters while walking on the overworld. NPCs with hints to secret extra parts are also found in towns. Just like in normal RPGs. The concept reminded me a lot of "World Court Tennis". There is another pure racing mode with formula 1 cars on where you start from position 26 and have to come under the first six to qualify for the next race and course. The racing action itself is pretty mediocre in both play modes. Good controls and no slowdown, but rather boring courses.
