This 2D shoot-em-up is a throwback to the classic days of arcade gaming. In Gunbird 2, you'll take control of a wide range of characters. You'll be able to play as wacky characters ranging from a guy on a magic carpet to a witch on a broomstick. The goal of the game is simple and fun; shoot everything in site and rack up the points.

- Morrigan, of Capcom's fighting series [[gametag:darkstalkers DarkStalkers]], appears in Gunbird 2 as the 7th selectable character.
- The storylines and endings of the Japanese version were rather... risque. Have they made the cut in the US version? We doubt it!
