Personal review
Gameplay-wise "Fuuun Shourinken: Ankoku no Maou" isn't much of an improvement compared to its predecessor, which appeared a year before. Beating a handful enemies in 1vs1 combat... and thats it. They embedded the fighting gameplay into a little story, represented by a pictures and text after each fight. You have a limited choice after each scene, mostly to go "right" or "left" leading to different opponents, but it seemingly has no effect on the overall story at all. While this is a nice extra, it doesn't make the game more playable.
