Personal review

The game is based on a manga/anime series which can be best decribed by a quote I found from an anime reviewer who said: 'Think a sillier, dumber James Bond in space, with some Barbarella mixed in.' Well, although I couldn't finish the game, because I wasn't able to open a door at about halfway through the game (I'm sure I got the right keys *grumble*), the game can be considered very easy and even non Japanese people could get through the chapters with enough trial and error. It's very linear and feels nearly like reading a comic book. As this is a CD-ROM adventure it features lots of graphics and a number of 'cut-scenes', although later games would make even more use of this. Except the title music and some smaller scenes with speech, the game makes use of the internal PC-Engine chip music when it comes to sound. And the music was not even good. Here they could have done better I think.
