Rise of the Argonauts is an action role-playing game (RPG) in which players assume the role of Jason and other Argonauts on an epic quest to recover the Golden Fleece. Players encounter and battle various mythological creatures such as manticores (i.e., body of a red lion with a human head), satyrs (i.e., half-human, half-beast), and centaurs (i.e., part-human, part-horse). Characters engage in frequent hand-to-hand combat, and some attacks result in creatures getting ripped in half with accompanying blood spray and splatter that stays on the ground. Some cutscenes and dialogue contain sexual innuendo (e.g., '...she was known as a Thousand Man Whore...').
