Personal review

Konami's immortal and legendary 'parody' of Gradius is in many ways better than the game it sets out to make fun of. Using its own internal logic which defies human understanding, your enemies range from cat boats to penguins to . . whatever. Good gameplay, a nice pastel look, and well-done sound make for a humorous experience that also happens to be a classic side-scroller in itself.
