Personal review

One os the best shooters for the MSX, Zanac puts you in control of a space ship against an army of enemies of various types, and the enemy bosses are in the format of eyes. You could power-up your ship if eight different weapons, and the game have eight different levels in various type of terrains, including water, desert and volcanic terrains.

There are two further "versions" of Zanac A.I. to be found:
- Zanac A.I.: 2nd Version (also titled Zanac 2 or Zanac '87)
- Zanac 3

There is some discussion about the game in the MSX community. It seems to be not official versions of the games, but seem to fall into the hacks/mods/unauthorized patch category. Thus there are no separate entries for those in UVL.
