Official description

On their Wii debut, the agitated, cheeky Worms have entered another world – literally. The legless masterminds have left their Earthly possessions behind – except for their weapons, of course – and have taken to blowing each other up in the depths of space in Worms: A Space Oddity.

Like other Worms titles before it, Worms: A Space Oddity is a turn-based strategy game where one colony of worms tries to blast the other one to kingdom come. This time, they’ll do it with the force of the Wii Remote. In fact, this Worms title was built from the ground up to take advantage of the controller, allowing players to launch attacks with unique Worms weaponry via gesture-based and force-sensitive manoeuvres.

In addition to the new Wii Remote controls, Worms: A Space Oddity features a new graphical approach. Whereas previous Worms games featured a traditional drawn approach, the newest title replaces that approach with a distinctive style inspired by classic Sci-Fi looks. You’ll notice the enhancements as you play across six planets, each with its own, unique environment.

When the space cadets aren’t engaging in a 24/7 space race, they take some time to kick back and relax with a host of party games. You and up to three friends can enjoy these games and a host of other multiplayer modes and customisable options in the final frontier.
