Description

This is a verses action puzzle requiring quick reflexes, strategy, and memory. The mechanics are kind of like Dr. Mario with the virus and pill roles reversed. Gems drop in pairs. Adjacent gems will join into larger crystals. A breaker gem will destroy all gems and crystals of the same color that are touching eachother. Destroying gems creates attacking counter gems that drop on you opponent. These counter gems can't be destroy by breaker gems until they are done counting down. There is the rare diamond that destroy an entire color at once. You can partially or completely nullify an attack by sending the an attack at an opponent at about the same time with about the same gems and crystals. Each dwarf has an attack pattern that can be memorized to aid in timing attacks and counter attacks. Also some patterns are inherently more difficult to deal with. In two player Dwarf Vs. Dwarf games, players can choose weak or strong characters and they can be evenly matched or not. In one player arcade mode, the player battles each AI controlled, progressively stronger character in succession. In both modes, the matches are designed to be relatively short for this style of game. A player must win 2 of 3 matches for a victory.
