Personal review

Crazy Climber is a port of an old arcade game from 1980. Nichibutsu intended to emulate the control scheme of the original arcade version and thus the Famicom version is also controlled with two controllers. On top of that they put two stick-like addons for the standard Famicom controllers into the game box. Since the arcade version was already a couple of years old, the Famicom version looks really good compared to the original and it has more levels as well. Four very difficult levels can only be unlocked when you find all secret rooms/keys in the eight normal levels. The game is not bad, but they should have simplified the controls a bit.
